Civil Design Engineer Internship

Company Name:
Clapsaddle Garber Associates, Inc
Company Description:

CGA is looking for more than just talented people. We are looking for young engineers to become leaders in our company.

CGA is a mid-sized civil engineering and land surveying company. Our size is one of our biggest assets. We are looking for young engineers who are self-starters and crave autonomy. Because of our size we maintain a flat, uncomplicated, interchangeable structure. This cuts red tape to allow employees to gain responsibility early.

Our people are definitely not pigeon-holed into doing the same thing every day. Our engineering staff take a project from conception and design phases all the way through construction administration and completion. You will acquire invaluable experiences and an opportunity for growth.

We perform projects all over the state of Iowa for a wide variety of clients. Our vision is to enhance the communities where we live, work and play so the infrastructure is sound and can be valued by generations to come.

We value enthusiasm, creativity, communication, relationships, continual improvement, teamwork, and family. And even though we are engineers and land surveyors, we do like to have fun, including community involvement. Recent events include Red Nose Day, CGA's Summer Outing/Picnic (golf tournament, coconut bowling, kayaking, fishing, and cornholing), CGA's novice and experienced golfers’ participation in client golf outings, celebrating silly days like national hat day, attending local baseball games, holding ugly Christmas Sweater contests, and pizza parties. And, we are competitive too! Hosting the traditional Tailgate, the Friday before the Iowa State vs. Iowa game!

Oh yea, we have some great and very competitive benefits, including salaries!
